Who we are

Argent Tech AB (org.nr 559532-2347), Umeå, Sweden, is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions and requests: admin@argentapps.io.

What this policy covers

The apps we publish on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and this website. Each app's store listing ("App Privacy" on the App Store, "Data safety" on Google Play) lists the data that particular app uses. If an app does something not described here, the app tells you before it happens.

What we collect and why

• What you send us. When you email us, we use your address and message to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in giving support.
• What stays on your device. Most app content (settings, entries, progress) is stored on your device and never reaches us, unless an app offers sync or backup and you turn it on.
• Accounts. If an app lets you create an account, we store what the account needs (for example an email address and the data you choose to sync) for as long as the account exists. Legal basis: our contract with you.
• Purchases and subscriptions. Apple and Google process payments; we never see your card details. We receive what we need to unlock what you bought, such as a purchase identifier and the subscription's status. Legal basis: our contract with you, and bookkeeping law.
• Diagnostics and usage. Some apps send crash reports and anonymous or pseudonymous usage events (such as which screen crashed, or that a feature was used) so we can fix problems and improve the app. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working app, or your consent where the law requires it.
• Advertising. If an app shows ads, the ad network may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads. On iPhone and iPad that only happens if you allow tracking when the app asks; on Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings. Where consent is required, we ask for it first.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the apps (for example hosting, crash reporting, analytics, subscription management and, in apps with ads, ad networks), under contracts that limit what they may do with it, and authorities when the law requires it. Each app's store listing names the kinds of providers it uses. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some providers process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. When they do, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Support emails: up to two years after the conversation ends. Account data: until you delete the account (see Delete your account). Purchase records: seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires. Diagnostics: at most 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, get it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to admin@argentapps.io; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se) or the authority where you live.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 unless an app's store listing says otherwise, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers and loads nothing from other companies. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working.

Security

Data is sent encrypted (HTTPS) and access to it is limited to the people who need it to run the apps.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above, and for significant changes we also tell you in the apps. The previous version is available on request.
